Catholics versus Mechanics

All is quiet in South Bend today, but not so on Saturday. Coach Woody and Coach GQ's squads will collide in what will (hopefully) be an epic battle. It's Catholics versus Mechanics in northwest Indiana. A wild weekend awaits the pool! (Note: Click the view above to see NDU's live webcam throughout the week.)

Go Blue!!! Hopefully it's a better game than the ND / PSU game. Predictions on the game and score anyone?
Michigan 27 Notre Dame 24

I hope it's better, too, but we'll see. It might be a closer game if it were in Ann Arbor.

My pick is ND 28, UM 17. Sorry, GQ.

Just like the Tigers, The Wolves will colapse and be worthless in the end. ND 28/UM 24

I think Michigan lacks mental toughness. They are a very talented team. It was so frustrating last year watching them underachieve, and I haven't been overly impressed this year, either. They need to answer the bell.

I agree with their disappointing play the last couple years. It usually takes a couple games for them to get going. I wasn't surprised with how close the Vandy game was.
Mike Hart is healthy this year (he got injured early in the ND game last year). Steve Breaston will catch some big passes, but it's Mario Manningham who catches a TD pass. Hart runs for 134 yards and a TD. Grady pounds out 74 yards and another TD. Rivas has two big FG's, with one of them coming in the last 1:35 to break the tie for the win.
Go Blue!
(Leave my Tigers out of this. They will be fine.)
