Dores in action

VU played a solid game today. Is it a moral victory? No, because the Dores should have won this one. Coach Bando and Coach Rob agree, though, that there's a difference on the field right now even though it isn't showing in the win column: This team did not beat itself today. It got beat fair and square. VU was competitive start to finish, and the two teams traded punches all day long. The Dores were not surviving and hanging in there on a prayer, and that is encouraging. It isn't a W, but it's better than the typical fourth-quarter collapse loss.
