Go Tigers!
Can you be more specific? Coach GQ (Auburn) and Coach Bando (LSU) have feline bragging rights, along with pool momentum and money, on the line Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium. College Football News has an interesting take today on how it all ultimately comes down to the quarterbacks (Russell and Cox, above):
"[D]on't think for a minute that this enormous and electric occasion won't demand a lot of maturity from JaMarcus Russell and Brandon Cox. Two gifted quarterbacks will face a rite of passage Saturday, and the way in which they withstand this pigskin crucible (or not) could well define the entirety of the season... for themselves and the teams they lead. It could well be that no one will respond to early-season pressure with transcendent grace and excellence when these two Tiger teams go to battle; but someone does have to win this game (kissing sisters is no longer allowed in college football, remember), and whoever makes the defining handful of plays in this contest will leave the ballpark with all the momentum and confidence in the world."Based on previous years, it may come down to the kickers, too. Let's hope it lives up to the hype as the most hyped game of the most hyped weekend of the year. What mayhem does the pool have in store for Saturday?? (By the way, CFN is picking Auburn 23-17.)

War Eagle!
The home team has won something like the last 5 matchups in this series. Glad it's at Auburn.
I really can't make up my mind, and I hope that means we're in for a great game. Auburn has looked solid so far and has the home edge, but LSU rocked Arizona last weekend.
I know Arizona is terrible, but LSU looked like they were fired up. I guess we'll see what happens on the plains Saturday.
