Shut your rooster

The SEC has, thankfully, put a muzzle on the awful South Carolina Gamecock noise during game play. The entire FP wishes this rule had been in effect for last year's VU road trip. This is beyond fan support. This sound is painful and just weird.

"We are certainly disappointed that we have to limit the Gamecock crow, as we know its a crowd favorite, but obviously we will comply with the Southeastern Conference rules and regulations," said Jeff Crane, the university's athletics marketing director.

Sorry, Jeff, but this can't come too soon for the FP.
